My teacher......

You're so far away,

but you're here

in my heart every day.

I know how lucky I am

to have a teacher like you.

You're not just student,

but my best friend too.

I only wish that you

lived closer to me,

so we could get together

to share over a cup of tea.

But even though you're not here,

it's such a good feeling

to know you're out there...

sharing and caring

and making each day,

so much brighter

in your own special way.

Fred had just become the caption of a small ship which carried things frame one port to another along a coast. One day he had to take a ship up a river in to the small port. he know that the river had plenty of channels ,and that some of them were very shallow and dangerous ,so he decide to wait until he saw a local boat going up the river and then follow it .after half an hour he saw a boat start to go up the river , so he began to follow it. He followed it through various channels until both of the boats hit sand under the water and stopped.
Then he captain of the local came to the side and shouted to the caption of the boat that had followed him." we came here to get a load of sand. What did you came to get?

A young officer an a small vessel was being tested on his know of what do if someone fell overboard while he was in charge of the ship .a big can was thrown into the sea, and the officer had to pretend it was a man who had fallen in and try to save it .the officer was inexperienced and the first thing that happened was that the can was pulled under by the ship's propeller. The officer quickly stopped the ship and went backward. There was o loud crash as hr struck the can again. Then he went forwards, went around in a circle and struck the can once more straight in front of the ship.
A sailor who was observing all this now said, Excuse me sir but if I'm ever unfortunate enough too fall in to the sea while you're steering the ship, please let me swim to shore by my self

Molly was the only little girl on her street, but when she was eight years old, another girl came to live in the house opposite hers. The new girl was eight years old too, and her name was Joan. Joan had to brothers. She didn’t go to same school as molly, but they soon began to play after school.
One day Joan came home, had her milks and cookies, and then went to molly's house she said to her friend, "hi molly. Will you come to my house to play? I've got a new game."
Molly answered, "I 'm sorry, Joan, but my mother won't let me play with you today, because your brother George has a bad cold, and she doesn’t want me to get it too."
"Oh, that all right," molly Joan answered quickly" .George isn’t really my brother .he's my step brother. "

An old man went to the hospital .when the doctor came to see him, he said," well .Mr. Jones, your going to had same injection and then your fell much Bette. a nurse will come and give you the first one this evening and then you'll get another one tomorrow morning .In the evening a young nurse come to Mr. Jones's bed and said to him I m going to give you your first injection now. Mr. Jones where do you want it?
The old man was surprised .he looked at the nurse for several seconds and then he said nobody's ever let me choose that before .are you really going to let me choose now?
Yes Mr. Jones the nurse answered .she was in a hurry where do you want it?
Well then the old man answered with a smile I want it in your left arm please

A small store sold a lot of nice jewelry, and owner was always very careful to prevent people from stealing it.
One day a thief came and tried it steal a beautiful necklace, but the owner of the store caught him immediately and went to the telephone to call the police to come and arrest him.
“Please don’t do that!” The thief said.” I have a wife and three children at home. And ill pay fir the necklace.”
The owner of the store felt sort for the man and he didn’t want to have a lot of trouble with the police .so he accepted the man‘s offer to pay for the necklace and went to prepare a bill for it.
But when he gave it to the thief .the man looked disturbed and said.” wasn’t intending to get any thing as expensive as that. Do you have some thing cheaper?”

bad boy

Johnny was nine years old, and he was very bad boy, but his mother always hoped that he would behave better. Than one day, after hew had come home from school .Johnny’s teacher called his mother on the phone and said,”did you know .Mrs. Perkins. That Johnny saved another boy when he fell into the river while we were out for a walk this morning?”
Mrs. Perkins was very happy when she heard this. She thought,” Johnny’s becoming a good boy.”Then she turned to him and said.”That was your teacher .why didn’t you tell me you had been such a brave boy and saved one of your friends when he fell into the river this morning?”
But Johnny did not look very happy when he heard this. His faces become very red. And he said. ”well. I really had to pull him out, because I pushed him in.”

A young boy was playing with a ball in the street. He kicked it too hard .and it broke the window of a house and fell inside. A lady came to the widow with the ball and shouted and the young boy .so he ran away .but he still wanted his ball back .a few minutes later hr returned and knocked at the door of the house .and the lady answered it ,he said ,”my father’s going to come and fix your window very soon.”
After a few more minutes a man come to the door with tools in his hand .so the lady let the boy take his ball away.
When the man finished fixing the window, he said to the lady,”that will cost you exactly ten dollars.”
“But aren’t you then father of that young boy?”The woman asked, looking surprised.”No.”He answered .equally surprised.”
“Aren’t you his mother?”

Jim walks into a store which had sign outside:”second-hand close bought and sold “.he was carrying and old pair of pants and ask the owner of the store,”how much will you give me for these?”the man looks at them and then said rudely,”two dollars.”
“What!” said Jim?”I had guessed they were worth at least five.”
“no,” said the man,” they aren’t worth a penny more than two dollars.”
“Are you sure?” ask Jim.
“Very sure “said the man.
Well,” said Jim ,taking two dollars out of his pocket ,”here’s your money .these were hanging outside your store with price tag that said$6.50,but I thought that was too much money ,so I wanted to make sure how much they were really worth.”
Then he walks out of the store with the pair of pants and disappeared before the surprised store owner could think of anything to say.
